About EndNote Online
  • EndNote Online (previously known as EndNoteWeb), is the online counterpart to EndNote desktop. It comes in two versions, the free online version (called Basic) and the one with full functionality automatically available to anyone who has a desktop licence, either personal, or via a university or workplace.
  • EndNote Basic provides only 21 styles. It can be used to collect references and write documents. It limits PDF storage to 2 GB.
  • The Full EndNote Online has the full complement of styles, but you cannot customise them. It also has unlimited storage for references and PDFs.

EndNote Online allows you to synchronise your desktop version with another computer, and share Groups or a Whole library with other EndNote users. Another feature is its Manuscript Matcher, which will suggest a  journal in which to publish your article if you paste in the intended abstract.
